As part of the celebration of the 19 years of American International University-Bangladesh (AIUB), Office of Sports at AIUB has organized a 7 day long (November 09 - 15) indoor games competition named as AIUB Indoor Games 2014. The games were inaugurated with an amazing opening ceremony at the Banani Club ground on 9th November 2014 at 11:30 am. Founder & Vice President (Student Affairs) of AIUB, Mrs. Nadia Anwar inaugurated the competition. Among others the Pro-Vice Chancellor, Dr.Charles C. Villanueva, Director (Student Affairs) Mr. Manzur H. Khan and Director (BBA Program) & Coordinator (Office of Sports) Mr. A. K. Nazmul were present on this occasion. Also a large number of Faculty members, Officers and students from different departments of AIUB and the representatives from the Media Partners were also present at the inauguration event. The games included Chess, Cyber games, Table Tennis, Bodybuilding, Badminton, Carom, Pool, Volleyball, Handball and Ludo competitions. The media partners for this AIUB Indoor Games 2014 were ATN Bangla, Asian Radio 90.8FM and The Daily Observer.
